    • If your order arrives damaged, please email us with your order number as the subject line and include the following photos:

      • The damaged item as it was packed in the box
      • A clear photo of the damaged item showing the damage
      • The inner packing material

Products & Compatibility

  • How do I know which screen is compatible with my device?
    • Match your device's model and specifications to the product title and description on the listing. If you're unsure, our order verification service can confirm compatibility for you — just message us with your device's model number or serial number before ordering and we'll make sure you get the right part.
  • What's the difference between LCD and OLED screens?
    • LCD screens use a backlight to display images and are the most common type found in laptops and monitors. They are generally more affordable and durable. OLED screens produce their own light per pixel, resulting in deeper blacks, more vibrant colors, and thinner panels — but they are more expensive and more fragile to handle. When replacing a screen, you'll need to match the same technology your device originally came with, LCD to OLED upgrades are not possible in current laptops.
  • Do your screens come with a warranty?
    • All screens come with a standard 30-day warranty from the date of delivery. For added peace of mind, extended protection is available as an option at checkout.

  • What is the condition of the screens you sell?
    • All screens sold by LCD Guarantee are new unless otherwise stated on the product listing. Some touchscreen assemblies are difficult to source brand new and are carefully removed from overstock units. These parts are still new and unused, but may have minor marks on the back from the adhesive removal process — this does not affect functionality or display quality.

Returns & Warranty

  • What is your return policy?
    • LCD Guarantee offers a 30-day hassle-free return policy. You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return for any reason. Items must be returned in the same or similar condition as received, in original packaging, with proof of purchase. No restocking fee is charged if the screen is returned with the protective film intact and no signs of installation or damage. If the screen shows signs of use — such as peeled protective film, tape residue, scuffing, or physical damage — a restocking fee of up to 50% may apply. Note that sale items, gift cards, digital products, services, and custom or special-order items are non-returnable.
  • What do I do if my screen is defective?
    • Please inspect your item upon delivery. If it arrives defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us immediately at info@lcdguarantee.com and we will resolve the issue promptly.
  • How do I start a return?
    • Email us at info@lcdguarantee.com to begin the return process. Once approved, we will provide a return shipping label and instructions on where to send the item. Important: items sent without prior return authorization will not be accepted. If you need a different item, request a return first and place a new order once it is approved.

Mail-In Repair

  • Do you offer Mail-In Repair Services?
    • Yes, LCD Guarantee offers mail-in repair services. Customers can ship their device to us for professional repair with a turnaround time of 1-2 business days once received. To get started, visit our Mail-In Repair page to schedule your repair and receive shipping instructions.
  • What devices do you repair?
    • LCD Guarantee repairs all types of devices including phones, tablets, laptops, desktops, and all-in-one computers.
  • How do I package my device for mail-in repair?
    • If you have the original box your all-in-one came in, please use that. For laptops, phones, and tablets, securely pack the device in a box with 2-3 inches of cushioning material between the device and all sides of the box to prevent damage during transit.
  • Is my data safe during a mail-in repair?
    • Yes — a screen repair does not affect the data on your device. Our technicians generally do not need access to your device beyond what is required for the repair itself.
  • What warranty do you offer on repairs?
    • All repairs come with a 1-year warranty from the date of the repair. The warranty covers defects in the screen itself or issues resulting from the repair. It does not cover damage caused by physical impact or normal operating wear.

Installation & Repair Difficulty

  • How difficult is it to repair my device?
    • Repair difficulty varies by screen type. Standard non-touchscreen LCD replacements are straightforward and suitable for most DIY users. Touchscreen LCD replacements are more involved and must be revision-specific to ensure compatibility. OLED screens are thin, fragile, and expensive — we recommend having these replaced by an experienced technician. Screens with integrated touchscreen digitizers are also best left to professionals due to the complexity of removal. Not comfortable doing it yourself? LCD Guarantee also offers mail-in repair services with a 1-2 business day turnaround. For DIY guidance, check out our repair tutorials on our YouTube channel.
